About Focus Weekends—in general.

Focus weekends provide a deeper dive into educational topics. There are typically three focus weekends each academic year.  In December, for example, the weekend is devoted to the theme of meditation and festival life. The title was: The Importance of Inner Work for Teachers or Comtemplative Practice and its Practical Application

Handwork

Focus weekends may also be practically based or focus on a particular skill to work with children via the arts. Art in a Waldorf School helps build a variety of capacities. It also strengthens the will of the child, an aspect of education that needs more attention by people like you, to provide balance in age of the smartphone.
